A Vegan Self-Help Comedy to Debut at EdFringe
Larry Tadlock, Big Mood and PBH Free Fringe presents
Encyclopedia of Kitchen: A Vegan Self-Help Comedy
Part comedy, part spoken word, part Q & A session, this wild vegan rollercoaster by up-and-coming author Larry Tadlock debuts at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe with PBH’s Free Fringe.
Everyone is talking about going vegan, but Tadlock was doing vegan before it was cool. Having been there, done that, Tadlock can help cut through the drama of going vegan and teach the audience healthy perspectives on food through his hilarious stories. Living on a gallon of milk a day in Texas? Been there. Discovering brown rice while working as a TV star in Tokyo? Done that. Buddhist monk? Life coach? You betcha.
This wild new memoir exploring Tadlock’s 30 years of everything vegan and plant-based will shift perspectives on food and health through laughter. With the current climate change debate and the plethora of benefits of shifting to a plant-based lifestyle, there has never been a better time for Tadlock to bring his memoir to the world, before James Cameron launches his new film The Game Changers this year.
Larry Tadlock is an American standup comic-turned-writer hailing from Texas and now based in the Hawaiian Islands. Encyclopedia of Kitchen is his first book and his debut Edinburgh Festival Fringe performance. Audiences often say he is a lot like 'David Sedaris but much funnier'. Tadlock has performed Gotham Comedy (US), Comedy Store (US), The Improv (US) and The Groundlings (US) and has been obsessed with health and diet for the last 30 years. Now he brings this information to the world through Encyclopedia of Kitchen: A Vegan Self-Help Comedy.
